
Tour Booking Requirements
In order for everyone to have a safe and enjoyable tour, please review and follow the listed requirements.
Age limit:
Children 7 yrs and above, must be accepted with parental participation on the same tour.
Payment Guidelines:
All payments will be deposited at time of booking through our electronic payment system. Any cancellation must be made 10 days prior to actual tour date to receive a 90% refund. Cancellation less than 10 days prior to actual tour date will not receive any refund.
Transportation/Meals:
Please note that ALL tours include transportation and a meal. If you have any transportation needs that require special assistance or any food restrictions, please note in the “Comments” of our booking page.
Identifying our Team Members:
Everyone on our team will be wearing a shirt with our AYT logo, and no one will ask you for an additional tour payment. Tips to our driver and guide assistant are always appreciated.
The Weather and My Tour:
All tours will go on as scheduled unless there is a hurricane alert, or tropical storm weather alert. Rain here in the Yucatan usually doesn’t last long and will not be an issue for our tours. Sometimes, rain can even make the experience that much better. Some have said “Magical”.
Tour Times/Pick Up:
Our 8 hour tours usually start at 9am. Our 4-5 hour tours can be either morning or afternoon. Your tour pick up location will be posted in your confirmation. Please note that we will not leave any booked tour guest behind without prior confirmation that they will not be coming, so please be prompt to your pick up location. Starting late may require us to delete an agenda stop on the tour or cause a late return to Merida.
